I don’t generally like posting rumors, but once in a while - clearly stating that it’s only a RUMOR:
Steve Muscatello is saying there is a rumor - completely UNCONFIRMED REPORT going around that New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin has resigned or will soon resign his office. (via Mr. Snitch)
If it is true, the press and the left will call the resignation heroic, honorable and noble. Then they will demand that President Bush do the same “if he has any honor.”
They’re so predictable, it’s almost getting boring.
The other rumor, and I am willing to bet it’s true, is that the Superdome is going to be demolished. Michelle Malkin has the conflicting stories, and lots of links, including one to a history of the Dome.
Powerline demolishes another rumor - if in fact that’s what Krugman was peddling.
