October 29, 2005Charles always was daftSo now, the Prince of Wales, who has done utterly nothing with his life while waiting for his genetically-predisposed to longevity mother to kick the bucket, is going to come to America to lecture The American President on being more tolerant to Islam. It is understood that Prince Charles did not - and does not - believe that the actions of 19 hijackers should tarnish the reputation of hundreds of millions of law-abiding Muslims around the world. As I said, the do-nothing prince is going to lecture the American President who has done more to liberate Muslim peoples who were living under suppressive regimes, and who has done more to rescue Muslim peoples whose lives are torn by tsunami and earthquake, on how he should be “nicer” to the Muslims. The prince of course has done great things for Muslims, too. He’s had dinner with them. He’s tried to “understaaaaand” them. He’s shaken their hands without wearing gloves. I wonder if the prince really believes that the War on Terror is really about “19 hijackers” (ahem - they were TERRORISTS) and some misplaced anger on the part of the US. IF so, he is more profoundly stupid and out of touch than I have ever imagined. Hey, Charlie, have you read about the Islamist who have surface to air missiles and more into France? I wonder if he’d like to be in New Delhi right now, telling the families of the dead and the blown-apart how “a few mischievous scamps with explosives on a bus” should not be taken too seriously. I wonder if he would have supper with a few Israeli’s who have lost their children on bombed-out buses, and try to “understaaaand” them, when they shiver at this sort of rhetoric which goes uncondemned by most of the world. Being as how the man has never had to take a subway in his life, I guess the bombings in the London tubes didn’t quite register on his chukka-damaged brain, either. I wonder if he realizes that those bombings, and the ones in Indonesia, and in Bali, and in Turkey, and all the rest, were not being carried out by “other religions, even Christians”…I wonder if he has any problem at all with Christian Girls being Beheaded in Indonesia. Carried out by…Methodists? Hmmm? Church of England? Hmmm? Jews???? I wonder if he has seen (WARNING: GRAPHIC!)these horrific and graphic photos of those poor young girlsor if they would move him in any way…after all, his nominally “Christian” sons are not at risk for this sort of treatment, are they? And what about art, O cultured prince - the censoring of art, that’s quite all-right, as long as it’s not some Christian objecting to a crucifix beign submerged in urine? In any case, I think before he dares lecture the American President or the American People he should perhaps spend a little time with some people who have lost limbs or loved ones because of those “19 hijackers,” (no, they were TERRORISTS) - and find out what it’s like to live under a threat he will never, himself, face. Putz. What a putz! Benedict, btw, seems pretty unhappy about those beheadings, as well he should be. Dr. Sanity points out how, within just a matter of a day or two, Islamist extremists have shown themselves to be equal opportunity haters. UPDATE: It would be easy to point out that even cowardice, as a mere collapse of the nerves, is better t han cowardice as an ideal and theory of the intellect; and that a really imaginiative person will have more sympathy with men who, like cattle, yeild to what they know is panic, than with a certain particular type of prig who preaches something that he calls peace. HRH the Prince of Wales was once overheard telling his horse-faced then-mistress that he wished he could go through life as her tampon. I wish he could, too. At least he’d be quiet.

At least he had the sense to marry a beautiful woman to get some of that inbreeding out and have good-looking kids. Well, William anyway. One out of two ain’t bad.

Charles is a twit–always has been. He’s just repeating the Mantra of a large segment of Europe.
I worry more about the 40-60 million Americans that sing this same tune. Didn’t Kerry’s wife(oh, did I “out” her?)say that the sophisticated Europeans just dust themselves off after a bomb blast and go about their day’s business?

He must’ve been blind, deaf, and dumb during the London Tube attacks. I hope the americans don’t take a lecture seriously, from a man who stands by so tolerant of muslims that he lets them take away the rights of his own people without any tolerance or understanding of thier rights!
Perhaps we should give him the offer to better understand the insurgents by shipping him into their camps and safe-houses to do diplomacy with them, and see how far he gets.
Plus, I expect no better than a half-cracked political view out of a man who tried to justify his perverse desire to spade up and tear foxes apart with over thirty dogs because he enjoys it.

I hang out and observe at quite a few royalty watcher boards. Most royals (a few exceptions) strike me as not all that intelligent to put it very kindly. Charles heads the line.
Many people in Great Britain are undergoing some deep soul searching since they’ve just realized they have a large population of unassimilated (Islamic) people who don’t want to be assimilated and who want to bring England under the sway of the caliphate.
Evidently Charles is cool with that.

I just did a search (Sunday 5:00pm CST) of MSNBC and CNN using various combinations of “beheading” “Indonesia” “christian” “schoolgirls” and came up with nothing. Either I am doing something wrong, or they feel that the beheading of Christian schoolgirls is not newsworthy. To their credit, the ABC news site does carry a report.
