Don’t they understand the power of a compulsion?

Confederate Yankee takes a some law professor to task - quite rightly, I think - for suggesting that Michelle Malkin doesn’t write her own blog.

Yankee does a fine job blowing the theory out of the water, so I needn’t. But as a “long form” blogger who still manages to rack up the number of daily posts, I’m simply wondering if the professor has any idea how addictive the whole form is, and how easy it is to hammer out posts - particularly if you are a short-form blogger like Michelle, who frequently updates.

Hooey and hoo-ha. The professor clearly doesn’t have enough to do.

Michelle discusses her enviable work ethic here

I’ve been kind of amazed at how you and others sometimes crank out a bunch of thoughtful posts. That law prof’s explanation never occurred to me! So henceforward if I ever say you should fire or reward “one of your many ghost writers,” it’ll just be my way of expressing my envy of you. I can’t write your way without desperately desiring to re-write even weeks later.

The professor teaches at UNC-Chapel Hill.

Not quite up to snuff to teach at Duke.

Chances are the dipstick thought the SUV attack wasn’t terror, either.
