Clearly, unless a thing makes him look like the hero and savior of the world, Bill Clinton doesn’t want it out there for public consumption. Blue Crab Boulevard astutely notes: Now…the left side of the blogosphere and mainstream Democratic politicians are calling for [The Path to 9/11] to be radically changed or silenced. Some are gloating that they think they have silenced some voices.[...] One group decries the accuracy, the other decries the existence. Who is in favor of silencing the opposition again? Who is in favor of curtailing the free speech of others? All of this, of course, is meant to politicize, polarize and discredit the film. If the Clintonistas can’t get it pulled, they’ll make sure the whole endeavor is characterized as a “right wing glorification of Bush,” even though - from what I have read, anyway - Bush’s mistakes get shown, too. I don’t know about anyone else, but I am so tired of this “scorched earth” technique of overwhelming any issue with a PR bombardment and loud subject changing. I’m so tired of the Clintonian methods and models. Do the Clintonistas not understand just how very bad they look as they hysterically try to discredit this film?. Do those members of the press jumping on the Clinton bandwagon realize what protective toadies and hypocrites they look like? They’d do much better to simply let the thing play and act like grown ups…but as I wrote here, they’re not used to not having full control over a media issue…or history. Yeah, CONVICTED FELON Sandy “PANTS” Berger is really convincing when it comes to telling the truth.

My feeling is that the Hillary bust has demoralized the whole crew to the point that they now are self-destructing in public.

I wonder how those defnding Clinton, et al, would react to if another president, past or present, demanded that a docudrama be changed?
As for members of the press, why should they care abour looking like hypocrites now?
They don’t care enough to tell the truth about the war on terror and other realities.
Why on earth would they tell the truth about Bill Clinton??
