There is an art to good politics, Part II

A few days ago, I wrote about the pathetic spectacle of Elizabeth Edwards bowing and scraping to Hillary Clinton because she’d dared to suggest she, Mrs. Edwards, might be a more joyful sort of person than Mrs. Clinton. I noted that there is an art to good politics, and that we seem to sadly lack modern-day politicos who understand this.

Some more on this topic via video. I can’t say Schlesinger brings “art” to what he does, but his actions are certainly more effective, energetic, purposeful and “get it done,” than Joe Lieberman’s artless response to a heckler, which is to whine and stand there like a schlemiel.

Michelle Malkin has much more and via Sister Toldjah, recalls a Reagan moment, again via video.

I don’t know why politicians today are so willing to kowtow to hecklers in their audience, particularly these days when hecklers are becoming like the brownshirts of the 20th century, intending not simply to disrupt but to literally SILENCE those with whom they disagree. (Can we say Columbia University?)

John Kennedy wouldn’t put up with it, nor would Bobby Kennedy. Nor, I think, would Rudy Giuliani. Doesn’t anyone besides Hillary (who despite having no art, has cujones) have balls, anymore?

And yet he’s projected to get less than 10% of the vote, which suggests rather strongly that Connecticut voters are looking for other qualities in their candidates. God alone knows why.

Elizabeth Edwards is just as shameless as Hillary Clinton. Both put up with their husbands’ shameless exploitation of people.

Edwards made millions lying to juries about the origins of cerabral palsy.

In medicine, it has been common knowledge for years that this condition is NOT caused by the birth process; it occurs long before birth.

Mrs Edwards has no credentials when it comes to morality.

    LOL

    yes, it is interesting.

this President seems to have a lot of guts, and is able to handle the bias MSM in a very pleasant fashion during press conferences.

Hillary is actually cold, i don’t believe this is a sign of guts, just she could care less.

For example, if Hillary had ‘balls’ she would have run for the Presidency in 2004, but she was too afraid.

Rudy seems to have a pleasant public demeanor, especially while handling the unexpected.

    Michael Bloomberg does not…
