The NYT issued that statement with a straight and forgiving face and tone.
I wonder why they can’t be as forgiving, understanding and late to point out flaws when religious people (who have actually confessed their sins, unlike the soldier that was caught in her deceit) have fallen.
I wonder why religious people (as well as others of different political ideologies) who sin are representative of a ‘problem’ that infects an entire community, while others (who share an ideology approved by the Times) are merely ‘aberrations’ or are figures deserving of sympathy.
The editors at the NYT are apes in tuxedos.
The only ones who really believe that the tuxedo can camouflage the reality of who and what they are, are the apes themselves.
