Dear Anchoress, I am usually a lazy soul when it comes to the registration process and, hence, am not usually a commenter on blogs. However, I couldn’t bear not to make public testimony to share how valued you are to your in the background readers. I so admire your fierce, cut through the crap intellect balanced out with your obvious gentle and love filled heart. I will adopt some of your passionate energy and make my prayers for your return to good (or better) health loud and numerous. I will be outside gardening today and that is often where I have my conversations with God so I hope he hears my small voice that will be joining many who care about you. You are treasured by many more than you know. Take care, meander1
Please say a prayer for The Anchoress who has taken ill. As Captain Ed said she is one of the few truly gentle souls. I know she’ll deny this, but she’s one of the gentlest souls in the blogosphere. When……
Beloved Anchoress, please feel better soon. My prayers and affection are with you - although I must say, if you’re going to be sick, this crummy weather sure qualifies as good timing.
I’m praying for your quick recovery. There’s too many good books, pints of Guiness, and ballgames out there waiting for your attention! (Not to mention the three fine men in your life. Four if you count Bryn…)
I wanted to join the “public get well.” I can’t believe how much I miss you! God must really need your “cross” right now because I don’t know of anyone who carries it better than you. In addition, you draw in copious acts of mercy from the many who love and pray for you. You know if we could, your fans would do anything for you, anything. May the prayers for you Dear Anchoress circle the world! You deserve it. Get well!
Hot tea, a good book, a comfy bed—my prescription for you. And chocolate.
Take until well, and get well soon Anchoress. The anchorhold is lonely without you.
A.,
My prayers are with you and your family (It is so hard to have the mum of the house unwell!). You are in my prayers especially on my early am rosary walk tomorrow (Tues). May you feel yourself buoyed by the prayers of those whose lives you have touched through your inspired blogging.
The Anchoress is sick and is not able to post on her blog. Please say a prayer for her, because we all miss her writing. She brings a different perspective to the table than I normally read. Hopefully she will…
